Members of SSOPRS are qualified Ophthalmologists who have subsequently undergone fellowship training in the field of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Membership application is available on request.
The requirements for membership are as follows, and these criteria are consistent with the regulations of other Oculoplastic Societies around the world
Completed ophthalmology residency training – Registrable degree by the Singapore Medical Council.
Subspecialty Fellowship training in Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (minimum 12 months) – locally or overseas.
References by existing SSOPRS members.
Fellowship of the College of Ophthalmology of Singapore or the equivalent. *
Demonstration of a minimum of 12 months of post-residency training in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
The training institution may be locally in Singapore, or a recognised international Oculoplastics centre.
